GPS in the struggle with the grass ...
Soon the grass reapers of the county of Leicestershire in central England will support the GPS system at work.
As reported portal tvn24 , county councilors spent six thousand. pounds on the satellite navigation system for mowers.
According to the councilors, the new system will help in the fight against "the rapid growth of grass," which saw the roadside and playing fields.
With GPS-these, haymakers are included in the system that will monitor the frequency of mowing grass in the county and send them to places most overgrown. In connection with the "rapid growth", officials also employ more reapers, who are often sent to work.
The idea did not gain council approval of all residents:
If you leave without mowing the lawn, it is out of control. You do not need satellites to know that - said Brian Rayner, a resident of Leicestershire.
The fleet of 14 mowers come with navigation.
