Confirmed the successful launch of NAVIGON navigation software for the iPhone in the Apple App Store, which has become one of the three most frequently downloaded applications.

Users of iPhones have been waiting for navigation solution that will work on their device, and NAVIGON MobileNavigator offers everything multifunction navigation should be - and now will have an even greater number of functions.

"We are delighted to past successes and continue our efforts to offer free updates to the iPhone was even easier to use as navigation," said Gerhard Mayr, department manager for mobile solutions and new markets at NAVIGON.

Customers will be able to use the new options from July to obtain them free of charge as updates available through the Apple Store App Store. New features include additional language versions of software for the Portuguese, Czech, Polish, Turkey, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Greece and Russia, as well as route planning options known from NAVIGON. Even before you start driving, the journey can be planned by the driver, including the selection of specific targets or cities on the route. Soon navigation will also warn of radars, will also be improved graphics, including street names placed on display in 3D mode.
