Nokia today announced plans to provide free pedestrian and car navigation, in its smartphones in the new version of Ovi Maps, available for download at www.nokia.com / maps (coming soon in Polish on www.nokia.pl / map ). Nokia's software for mapping and navigation has been developed specifically for use in mobile networks and used its unique hybrid technology.

The new version of Ovi Maps will contain all the necessary functions for car navigation and hiking, such as voice guidance at every turn in 74 countries and 46 languages, and traffic information in over 10 countries, as well as detailed maps of more than 180 countries.
