MobileNavigator Upgrade to version 1.4.0 is now available for free download from the Apple App Store. With 13 new features and improvements navigation of the iPhone is even more versatile and comfortable. Additionally, NAVIGON MobileNavigator reduces the price as part of the Christmas promotion.

Just before Christmas NAVIGON provides iPhone users the new version of its navigation software, MobileNavigator, which can be downloaded for free from Apple's online store App Store. At the moment there are almost all regional versions, and subsequent versions will appear soon (Spain, Italy, Europe).

NAVIGON MobileNavigator also lowers the price, which is part of a global pricing strategy. Special prices are valid from today until January 11, 2010. At that time, European version will cost 74.99 euros instead of 99.99 euros and 54.99 euros regional editions instead of 69.99 euros.

New features MobileNavigator

Navigation of the iPhone is now even more helpful. The "Country Info" is activated when the driver exceeds the limit by informing the country's most important traffic regulations - the maximum permissible speeds and limits the amount of alcohol in the blood. Help function in an emergency (Emergency Help) gives the driver a list of previously defined targets in the vicinity, along with their phone numbers, such as gas stations, police stations, hospitals or pharmacies.

With the list of all maneuvers, each stage of the route is clearly described. As soon as manewr is executed, the list is updated automatically. Another option is the ability to listen to music or audiobook'ów without omitting the navigation. In music mode, the volume is automatically reduced during the message, and in listening mode audiobook'ów recording is stopped and then resumed. If the GPS signal becomes too weak, the application informs the red box on the screen. MobileNavigator calculates the approximate position and resumes as soon as the signal is not sufficient. In addition, MobileNavigator update contains the latest safety camera database.

Intuitive

When navigating, users can zoom in or out, both in 2D and 3D, using the intuitive touch interface iPhone. Reports on the road are also easy to check - they read like photos.
